Unisphere supports the z/OS unmapping of CU images.
Prerequisites
The storage system must be running HYPERMAX OS 5977 Q1 2016.

Ensure all devices in the CU are offline before making any mapping changes to
the CU image.

About this task
To unmap a CU image from the CU image list view:
Steps

Select the storage system.

Select
to open the mainframe dashboard.

Click
CU Images.

Select the CU image that you want to unmap. Click
z/OS Unmap.
The
CU Image Unmap dialog box displays.

Select one or more volumes to unmap from the CU image.

Do one of the following:
- Click
Run Now to perform the operation now.
- Expand
Run Now and click
Add to Job List to add this task to the job list, from which you can schedule or run the task at your convenience. For more information, see

Preview jobs.
